Easy Ways to Develop Your Intuition
Share
I believe our inner wisdom, highest self (or spirit GPS!) is always trying to communicate with us. But it’s not always easy to hear it over the noise of everyday life or the multi-media distractions that abound.
So, here are five easy ways to tune in and let that inner guidance flow.
1. Morning MindfulnessWhile you're still a bit groggy, before your feet even hit the ground, take a moment to breathe, center, and just feel. Ask, "What energy do I need to bring into today?" See what comes through.
2. Nature Walks as Moving Meditations
Let yourself be guided to wherever feels good—maybe that tree or patch of flowers. Nature is full of grounding energy, and I believe your intuition really is fed by it!
Ask your body to tell you how it will communicate YES or NO to you. Once you've established your own personal language, start practicing with little things—what to have for lunch, which route to take to work. Ask your gut "yes or no?" and see what your intuition has to say. It might surprise you!
4. Automatic Writing: Your Inner Pen Pal
Grab a journal, set a timer for five minutes, and write whatever comes to mind. No judgment, just flow. This is also a great thing to do when you're quite sleepy as the ego gets a bit quieter when you're either tired or not fully awake. Or maybe that's just my ADHD-type brain...
5. Music for Messages
This one's fun! Clear your mind, focus on a question and then pop a playlist random or shuffle, and pay attention to the first song that comes up. The lyrics, the song title or even the artist name might contain a message from your spirit team.
Have fun and let your intuition surprise you!
