Stacy's first reading guided her not to go solely with her previous publisher and instead 'go wide' with her approach - and she'll tell you how that turned out in the article.

Her second reading In this case Stacy asked me whether she'd win her category at the Book Awards after many years of failure. The two cards I pulled were an unequivocal "NO". In the article Stacy attributed this to her extreme pessimism, which could have been true, but I always ask 'Universe, what is it in the highest good for Stacy to know about XYZ?" In this instance, I believe the universe wanted Stacy to experience the absolute joy and excitement of her well-deserved win in the moment. If the cards had said "Yes" it would have eaten into her joy somewhat and the live announcement may have been that much less impactful. It's like the universe wanted her to have the best experience possible, and not have it ruined with an accurate prediction. Well, that's my belief.

And as for me, I really didn't want to answer that question during the reading - it felt wrong. But I attributed that to my ego being scared, in case I was wrong, so I pushed through. I now realise what that unease was telling me and I now honour it. Some things are just not meant to be known because you are meant to appreciate the journey, not the outcome.
